GREETINGS! 

I am so excited to be apart of the Linwood Family! I am the Kindergarten Teacher Assistant for the 2023-2024 school year! With my fellow partners, Miss April Ketchum and Miss Savannah Davis, and my co-assistant Miss Sana McKinney, we will work hard to get our students WILD ABOUT LEARNING, because we see potential in every single student!

I am currently attending Jackson State University to obtain my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have wanted to become a teacher since early childhood, writing on walls in my home and using the kitchen table as my desk. So I am very excited for the future and what this year has to bring.

I started at Linwood as a Substitute teacher/ Everyday Substitute then decided to come aboard as an assistant. Working as an assistant and going to school I believe is very beneficial to my learning. The skills I will obtain from the profession would be used to efficiently and effectively help our children learn to become the best adults they can be.
