Greetings Linwood family,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year, where we are "Wild About Learning". I am so elated to be a part of the Yazoo County Panther Family!! I truly believe that school should be an environment where students receive the tools they need to be well-rounded in this 21st century world. As a child of an educator, I take pride every day in knowing that I'm empowering students with skills and knowledge to compete with others.

My teaching career began at Linwood Elementary School in 2008.  From 2008-2017, I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. In 2017, I begin my administrative career. As an assistant principal, I love supporting teachers and seeing students reach their highest potential through various instructional practices. 

As  a mother to five lovely children and a wife to a wonderful husband, Selwyn; I truly believe that in order to be successful in any task a goal has to be established and one has to be motivated! Here at Linwood, we are that motivational piece!! We pride ourselves in ensuring that all of our students know they are capable of achieving any goal.  

It is my prayer that every child will leave Linwood Elementary School equipped with the skills needed to further their studies at the middle school level.
