Welcome to Kindergarten!  I am entering into my 11th year of teaching Kindergarten here at Linwood Elementary.  I previously taught Pre-K at Wee Care, Inc in Madison County. I was born and raised in Yazoo County and graduated from Benton Academy in 2002.  I received my Associates degree in Fine Arts from Mississippi Delta Community College in 2005 and my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College in 2009. I have 3 beautiful girls (Makenzie- 18, Aubree-10, and Mary Jules- 9 months).  I love spending time with my family, whether it be going to our daughters' sporting events or sitting at home watching a movie together. I love to read mystery books and watch Hallmark Christmas movies.  I also enjoy singing in my church choir.  As a teacher, I believe that it is important for me to provide an engaging and challenging environment that is welcoming to all students and families where respect, responsibility, participation, trust, and safety are promoted. I believe that all children should be treated with equality, and that all children can learn, achieve, and succeed with the right tools.  I believe that I have the best job in the world!
