Mr. Drennan embarked on his educational journey by earning an Associate of Arts degree at Holmes Community College. He then pursued his Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) in History from Delta State University, where he developed a deep understanding of historical events and their impact on society. Building upon this foundation, he went on to earn a Master of Arts (MA) in History Education from Delta State University, honing his expertise in effectively delivering historical content to students.

Recognizing the importance of leadership in education, Mr. Drennan further pursued an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership from William Carey University. This additional qualification equips him with valuable skills to lead and guide his students towards academic success.

Mr. Drennan's commitment to continuous learning is evident through his extensive hours of Computer Education Courses. These courses have allowed him to stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology and integrate them into his teaching practices effectively.

Since 1999, Mr. Drennan has been a valued member of the Yazoo County School District. Currently, he serves as a teacher of Computer Science and Dual Enrollment History courses in partnership with Holmes Community College. His collaboration with Holmes Community College offers students a unique opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school, providing them with a head start in their educational journey.
