Being associated with the Yazoo County High School for so many years has truly filled my life with immeasurable blessings!  None as great as giving me the opportunity to play a minute part in helping our students reach their potential and goals for their future! I treasure the relationships I have been able to build with my former students, and I am looking forward to another year of working with our administrators, staff, and students to prepare them for success on whatever path they choose for the future!

    Expectations for students:

    • Be at school each and every day if at all possible!
    • Bring your computers and other class materials to class each day!
    • Responsibility - stay organized! Your senior year will be filled with so many responsibilities and you must stay on top of all your courses and extracurricular activities.
    • Respect - My favorite quote is from the cartoon character Garfield, " In order to get respect, you must give it!"

    Students and parents:

All my lessons, activities, powerpoints, etc are posted on a weekly basis on Canvas. If a student is absent, I expect them to open Canvas to see what they are missing for that day. All grades are posted on SAM's. There is no reason for you to wonder what assignments you are missing or what your current grade is in my class. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
