Greetings!  I am an ELA and Math Interventionist at Yazoo County Middle School. In 1996, I received my Associate of Arts Degree from Georgia Military College. I then went on to receive my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Valdosta State University in 1998. Then a master’s degree in 2002 from Belhaven University. My final degree was in 2007 where I earned a Specialist Degree from Mississippi College. Since that time, I have completed course work at Harvard University on The Data Wise Project, which supports educators in using collaborative data inquiry to drive continuous improvement of teaching and learning for all students.

I served the students at the Yazoo City Municipal School District from 1999-2020 and have been part of the Yazoo County Middle School family since that time. I have worked in education for 32 years as a paraprofessional, teacher, literacy coach, assistant principal, principal, and director of special services. I love what I do!
